A very straight, complete, original 6600 Q cab.

Mechanically this tractor really feels in good order, the tractor starts instantly, and runs smoothly, it doesn’t breathe, there is a bit of usual Ford exhaust smoke but nothing blue or worrying at all. Fitted with what appears to be original smooth sided engine block.

The driveline is all good, clutch smooth with good bite point and all gears select easily, both high and low box. 

The foot brakes are spot on, as is the handbrake.

Linkage works smoothly and the independent PTO is working as it should.

Where this tractor really stands out, is its completeness. all the original glass and rear cab panels, original lights (all working) even the ever vulnerable reflector plates are still on the rear wings. The cab interior is also very good, floor mats are in very order and not holed and the trim is in excellent order. There has been a retro style seat fitted in recent years.

The tinwork, I would say on the whole is excellent, not rotten and very little in the way of dents and damage. Unfortunately, as per usual the cab has suffered a bit with rust. I would say the lower half has faired pretty well, but the metalwork above the windscreen and to the nearside(above the grab handle) have had a bit of a dose. It has been repaired to an amateur level, which in truth will be absolutely good enough, just depends what you want. One door is very good, one has had a life. Wheel arches and wings are very good.

Front tyres are fairly fresh and very good, rears are old and aged, but serving purpose fine.

Very useable tractor, or very sound restoration/preservation piece, just so unusual to find so straight and complete.
