We have owned and used this tractor for the past 5 years.

A very clean and original example of the classic 6 cylinder 50 series in unusual 2wd format

Tractor fires up instantly, every time even after long terms of dormancy. Runs smoothly and cleanly, with the lovely distinctive 5.9 tone.

The clutch is nice and light, and engagement is smooth. All 8 forwards and 4 reverse gears select without issue, with the Hi-Lo splitter doubling the offer.

Mechanically controlled linkage with two spool valves and trailer brake valve

Power steering is smooth and very light, with the 2wd axle giving excellent manoeuvrability

Independent Hyd PTO with single lever engagement comes with 540/1000 speed stub shafts

Bodywork wise the tractor is excellent. very original and I’m fairly sure original paintwork throughout. No rust, other than a bit of surface on inner wings and wing tops. I have squirted oil on the wing inners as protection, but nothing other than a bit of surface deterioration. The Cab is also in very good order, all glass present, lower panels have been re- trimmed fairly recently, A pillars and roof are all original, not perfect but not bad either.

Wheels are straight and rot free, front tyres are fairly used, but rear BKT’s have seen very little action and are in great order.

All electrics are good, bar probably a couple of sidelight bulbs

Overall a very nice, tractor ready for work or play
