This old U was originally registered in Aberdeenshire, still has its 1955 tax disc present. Recently pulled from a Suffolk barn, where it has been residing for probably 10 years or more. The registration is live, but needs a new v5 applying for

The tractor in principal works. However there are a few jobs that will need doing before proper use. Tractor starts willingly, and sound healthy, the hunting in the video was it just running out or petrol. The carb sometimes seems to flood, so not sure if floats are sticking sometimes. The engine runs very cleanly, no smoke. It has petrol and TVO Tanks, both are good and don’t leak. The coolant system needs work, there are numerous leaks, primarily around the water pump, possibly the rad and there is a freeze plug missing on the top of the engine, which you can see on video.

Clutch and and gears all fine PTO fitted, I forgot to test.

front tyres are good, the rears hold air but are fairly tread less!

Bodywork wise, it seems pretty complete, no real rust at all, has obviously been restored many years ago. one of the real cast wheels has a repair on it

lovely pre war styling, just a real lump of a tractor, would be a lovely project for someone to get their teeth into, with the basics all there
