A lovely little 495, in essence one town council owner from new!

This three cylinder 52hp tractor starts instantly, hot or cold. Runs very cleanly indeed. No breathing etc. Runs absolutely lovely. Clock shows just over 4800 hours, which I would believe to be true, given the condition.

All 4 gears, two ranges and reverse select perfectly. It benefits from side mounted leavers, so easier to get in and out. Clutch feels good

The foot brakes are very strong, hand brake functions, but is not massively strong, so would benefit from a tweak.

Steering is really light, power assisted and it turns really sharply and quickly

Independent PTO, single leaver on/off, no clutch

1 Double acting spool valve, linkage all good and working PUH

The tractor is in very good condition for its age, and has clearly not had a hard life. As far as I can tell, the body is completely original paintwork wise. I think the wheels may have been spruced up some time ago. Yes of course there are a few blemishes commensurate with age and use, if I’m being critical the bottom edge of one door is corroded, but an easy repair, and it would benefit from some replacement door rubbers. other than that, it really is a straight tractor, and really needs nothing to put into work.

New rear tyres fitted 2 years ago, have done nothing, fronts are older but still excellent, has a lovely big footprint if using on grass land.
