2001 Y registration Case CS 78 Tractor. These tractors were built by Steyr in Austria when Case bought them out, and are a very well built little tractor.

This tractor has had Engine, transmission, and hydraulic oils and filters changed (over £500 in parts and oil alone)

Fitted with a 78hp 4.4l Sisu (Valtra) engine. It starts instantly and runs perfectly, one of the last simple, mechanical fuelled tractors, no ECU fuel pumps or Emission controls.

Transmission features Mechanical shuttle, which means forwards and backwards speed matched. 4 speed transmission with one Powershift and a creeper box give 32×16

4 speed PTO (in cab shift) 540/1000 and std/eco

Heavy duty lift (4900kg) twin external assistor rams, puh, and external lever for hitching up.

2 double acting 4 position spools with covers and float

The tractor is in very good condition for its age, and has clearly not had a hard life. the bonnet has been repainted as it was slightly damaged and lost its colour. other than a bit of paint on the front bolster, everything you see is original and unpainted. The cab is a very pleasant place to be, flat floor, passenger seat and great visibility. It really is a very pleasant machine to use.

The tyres are its originals! Rears have loads of tread as you would expect, the fronts are showing a bit of age, but still perfectly useable.
