A bit of a beast, for someone looking for something a bit more unusual in their classic!

This 1970 1004 was restored around 7-8 years ago, and has been used at a few working days since. Thousands have been spent on its restoration, leaving a very pleasant finished product, ready for action once again.

The Ford six cylinder bursts into life without issue and runs very nicely, all fluids in right place and no breathing etc. the tractor is showing just over 4000 hours, the clock is counting. obviously I cannot comment if correct or not

The 8 forward and 2 speed reverse transmission selects without issues and the clutch is smooth and feels good

Brakes are all good and hand brake works

Tractor has independent PTO and this is all working

Linkage works, pick up hitch fitted

If I’m being critical the power steering is heavy one way at low speeds, maybe a priority valve? At higher speeds obviously its not bad, there is also a a bit of a leak from one of the steering rams, which will need to be done at some point.

Rear tyres are very recent, the fronts have done a fraction more work, but are are excellent throughout.

Bodywork wise the tractor is very nice. It’s not concourse, as its been used, but it is very good. the paintwork is lovely, with a deep shine, the tractor stands really well. The Tinwork is all in very good order throughout. the lights are working

The tractor is really ready to be enjoyed once again, after having spent a few years tucked away in solitary confinement! A couple of minor jobs to do, but the expensive stuff has been done. Not many about like this.
