1957 Grey gold FE 35. Until now, this tractor has lived on the same Suffolk farm from new, changing owner in 2001, but remaining housed on the same farm! The live current log book shows one previous owner. Lovely specified machine too with lighting kit, pick up hitch and live drive!

Just fitted brand new heater plug, and now the tractor starts well. The engine seems really good, it settles down within a few seconds of cold start, and runs really nicely. When these engines are good, they are lovely, have a nice note and run smoothly. It runs cleanly, and I can see no breathing at all.

These tractors were a big step on from the TE’s in the gearbox department, with the high low box, doubling offer giving 6 x 2 gears. All gears select perfectly and the clutch is smooth, light.

Linkage works as does pick up hitch, PTO works perfectly and benefits from being live drive.

Steering really nice. precise and light.

Brakes are very responsive

Good tyres all round, rears are goodyear diamond tread, loads of tread and actually in very good condition for age, due to being stored inside always.

Tractor is a really complete, genuine tractor. It was restored many years ago. The skid is largely very presentable still, the tinwork, is largely very straight and rot free, however there has been some touching up to bonnet and wings in a different shade of grey.

A really complete straight original tractor with some nice options, in great mechanical order with good straight panel work, but a few areas of paint blemish, with a bit of attention, could be a really very nice tractor.
