1957 Ferguson FE35 Complete with original registration and V5, Seems probably registered in Cornwall originally

Tractor has clearly been restored I would guess a long time ago. Although now deteriorated, the tractor has been preserved and remains in good shape, with straight tinwork throughout and no serious rot.

The 4 cyl diesel is true to form, and likes a good session on the heater, but once warmed actually starts willingly. Smokes a bit to start with, and takes a few moments to settle down, as is normal for these. Once warm it actually runs well and fairly cleanly, other than when giving some revs. All pretty standard 23C stuff. Couple of little diesel leaks here and there

All three gears plus reverse and high and low ranges function fine. the clutch is smooth and responsive.

Linkage works, however the PTO is a bit sticky, and whilst under load the PTO does clutch on and off as it should, it doesn’t engage for the first time without a little graunching.

Steering is all good, and tight

Brakes are good

Decent tyres, rears have lots of tread, one is a little aged.

In summary a ready to go tractor, with a few tinkering jobs to do or perhaps the full restoration it deserves
