1950 Ferguson TED 20 Petrol TVO tractor

A charming little TED, which has I believe languished, unused for several years.

The tractor has lovely patina throughout, whilst I believe that some bits may have been repainted many years ago, it is difficult to tell, and if so, it really has mellowed into a very original looking state. The panelwork is superb, not rotten, not dented, just look at that bonnet and grill.

The original buff log book shows it was supplied new to Keyes Farm, Henley. It appears to have had two owners subsequently, and has never left Suffolk.I have an old blue log book, but not the current type, so would need applying for, number is all live on the system still.

The tractor starts and runs instantly, and cleanly with good oil pressure. The tractor needs a new battery and needs a bit of light recommissioning, I suspect plugs and leads are all quite old, and the fuel tap needs sorting as the gaskets have dried and now leak

Mechanically, its good, clutch, gears, brakes etc all work, the steering is direct as usual. Linkage and PTO all functioning.

New tyres on the front, rears I would imagine could be the originals! Of course perished and low on tread, but look very in keeping.
