This little Fordson Super Dexta, has had a bit of an overhaul but, we have managed to maintain its lovely original patina appearance, which was too good to loose.

The engine has a partial rebuild, with new piston rings, replacement head and a new starter. the tractor now starts hot or cold and runs perfectly almost instantly, as you can see runs extremely cleanly. It pulls well on the road and is very responsive.

The dual clutch works without fault and all gears 6×2 select perfectly

Linkage works, and it too has been taken apart and had the valves sorted, PTO works perfectly and benefits from being live drive, perfect for topping etc.

Steering is pretty good for a Dexta

Brakes are responsive

Rear tyres have been replaced with some very good used ones, front are aged but ok

Body work wise, the tractor is very complete and original. The Nosecone is straight, and although covered in surface rust, there is no scabbing or blistering on the sides as is usually the case. Bonnets are excellent, and whilst the wings do have a bit of rust low down, they are absolutely solid and the tops are in fantastic straight order.

A really lovely patina tractor that is sure to attract attention due to its originality, with the benefit of having been mechanically attended to.

There is no registration, but easily applied for through one of the clubs.
