INTERNATIONAL 384

SOLD
Very unusual and quite rare little tractor, the 40hp baby of the 84 range. Utilising a very old skid unit with the “modern” 84 series look
I believe this is a one owner tractor from a very small veg farm, The registration is still live, but needs a new V5 applying for
The little BD154 fires up without issue hot or cold instantly and it runs very nicely. she’s a bit smoky, but no real evidence of breathing or dipstick back pressure. I would think it long overdue a good service. I believe it has been out of mainstream use for several years.
All gears select nicely in both high and low range, and the clutch is smooth and comfortable to use
Linkage works, as does the PTO
Steering isn’t power assisted, but its nice and light and pleasant to use.
Brakes are working, they are not sharp, but they will bring it to a stop
Tyres are all aged and show signs of age, but holding air and doing a job, with decent tread remaining
Tinwork wise, the bonnet is very good and side panels present. The cab is overall structurally very good. There is usual corrosion in the C pillar panels. and the rear of the wings where the lights mount have been damaged. Otherwise though, Wings are good and solid and even the cab front frame is in good fettle.
All in all a rare little simple tractor, with the added benefit of a cab. Ready for use or would make a lovely little restoration piece. Light enough to tow behind a decent 4×4 too.
