One from my own planned “keep” collection! 

Very presentable little 1130 with Duncan cab. 

I have been using this tractor myself in spring on post hole boring duty, and such, mechanically everything works.

In true JD style, it starts at a touch of the button, hot, cold, even if left for months. The engine sounds good and is responsive, it does smoke a little and it also does breathe a bit, nothing major, but its not completely clean. It certainly doesn’t effect it.

The clutch is good, and all gears select nicely. Foot brakes and hand brake function perfectly. 

The steering is typical John Deere – super light, however the steering mechanics need looking at, it clunks when you steer lock to lock, and it is vague, alright for in the yard, but certainly not ready for a road run without attention first!

Rear linkage and independent PTO are all working as they should.

Bodywork wise, the tractor is good, straight panels, and rot free, The cab is in good order metal work wise and the doors are very good and straight. The fibre glass roof is tired. there is a rear window from another tractor, just needs some new hinges.

Comes complete with the rare type front weights

Wheels are straight and rot free, with old tyres that all hold air

Overall a nice little tractor with bags of character, kept as is or would make a lovely restoration piece
