Not for the faint hearted! this 3.5 tonne tractor was Deeres first venture into Diesel power. the 6.8 litre twin cylinder is started via another twin cylinder petrol donkey engine. This petrol engine has just been completely rebuilt. The Diesel engine has that very distinctive John Deere twin sound, and runs well. 

Operation of this tractor is unconventional in nearly every way, the clutch is controlled by hand and there are two brake pedals for your left and right feet! Brakes are strong and effective.

The tractor has obviously been restored in fairly recent years, the body work is in very good straight order without rust. Good paintwork throughout, not concourse but very smart. 

Sits on a fresh set of rubber all round 

Not often on sale in the UK, a serious tractor with real presence !
