Here we have a very smart little Leyland 154 (28hp)

The 1.5 BMC starts from cold with heat, and after a bit of an initial smoke, settles down to run cleanly and smoothly once warmed. There is no breathing or dipstick blow and the tractor sounds sweet.

The clutch is smooth and bite point is good, all the gears including low/high ranges select without issue (9×3) via the lovely slick and light gearbox. tractor has foot throttle fitted too.

The brakes work well, and the hand brake is functioning.

2 speed PTO and rear linkage all work well and smoothly

Very little used rear tyres are in Excellent order, fronts are brand new, they are cleated design, but can be replaced with conventional 2wd pattern tyres if you prefer, they are the same rims. All rims are very straight.

The engine/trans/axles I would say are all sporting original paint work. The bonnet and wings have been repainted, I would say many years ago, so has somewhat mellowed. There are a few areas of paint wear, but all the tinwork is very straight and not rotten or patched. Lights working.

Overall a very complete and fully functioning tractor, ready for action.
