Here we have a very useful little tractor

The leyland 245 is a compact little tractor fitted with the ever popular Perkins AD3.152 (as fitted to MF 135 etc), and sure enough it behaves true to style, starting instantly, hot or cold. Engine runs very nicely and very cleanly.

Fitted with 10 x 2 gearbox, all gears select without issue and the clutch is pleasant to use

Brakes are good and responsive and handbrake works

The PTO has hand clutch, so ideal for topping applications

Linkage all working as it should and fitted with drawbar and pick up hitch

Fitted with working lights

The tractor has been given a paint job, and freshened up its appearance, its not perfect and there are a few battle scars from its past, but it sits well and is tidy and there is no rust, all glass is present and a new seat has been fitted

It sits on some oversize rear tyres, they benefit from a wide tread so kind on grassland

Capable little tractor, ideal for small holding applications and ready for work
