Here we have an up together little Leyland 272 (71hp)

This tractor bursts into life hot or cold, no issues. Runs nicely, sounds good and runs cleanly without any breathing.

The clutch is smooth and bite point is good, all the gears including low/high ranges select without issue (10×2)

The brakes work well, and the hand brake is functioning.

Very nice power steering, light and smooth and very manoeuvrable.

PTO and rear linkage all work well and smoothly, fitted with two rear spools. and a pick up hitch, which is all functioning.

Very little used BKT rear tyres are recent and in Excellent order, fronts are older but are also good. wheel rims very good and not beaten.

The tractor is very complete and even the cab has much of its original linings, all glass present. Lights currently need attention.

Bodywork wise, the tractor is straight and rot free, it has been painted, but by hand. From a distance its bright and smart, but obviously on closer inspection its a bit more agricultural, and you certainly won’t be winning best at show!

Overall a very complete and functioning tractor, ready for action with the advantage of a complete cab.
