If you enjoy chatting to people at shows, this is the tractor for you! I was approached twice whilst stopped in the services for my lunch!

The 140 was a variant of the 135 built in France. Very similar output, I believe, rather strangely 2hp less than a 135? However this is the 140 super so boasts 46hp! The super also came with heavier duty clutch and 8 speed gearbox. There are some other slight differences, such as the wings and foot throttle arrangement.

This lovely patina tractor has loads of character. The bonnet and front end are extremely tidy. The wings are not quite so good, but have nevertheless been sympathetically repaired. The tractor is pretty much rust free though.

The engine has just undergone full rebuild as it was down on compression and breathing heavily. It now starts perfectly with all unwanted fumes gone.

All four gears plus reverse and high and low ranges function fine. Fitted with foot throttle.

Linkage works, as does the PTO, there is live drive, so ideal for topping applications etc.

Brakes are good and responsive, has the older style latch as opposed to the lever fitted to 135’s

wheels are are all good and rot free without major dings or bends. The tyres are all old but doing their job, rears are a little unevenly worn.

All lights and indicators functioning – ready for that road run!

In summary a very complete and original tractor, ready, for work, play, preservation or restoration. And sure to gather more than the odd question when you are out and about
