Here we have a straight old 1969 Massey Ferguson 165 MULTIPOWER

Engine starts without issue every time hot or cold, there is a working pre heater. engine runs nicely and smoothly there is a bit of smoke when you rev it but it largely clears after. I would say it deserves a good service and needs running, as has been laid up for a period of years inactive. Needs a new exhaust as is blowing at the bottom which isn’t very pleasant! There is as far as I can see no Breathing or dipstick blow.

All three gears plus reverse and high and low ranges function fine. the clutch is smooth and pleasant to use. The Multipower is working

Linkage works, as does the PTO, there is a bit of drag on the PTO, but again I have not put an implement on to load it up, could just be through sitting. No Drawbar.

Power steering works great one way, but non existent the other !

Brakes are again a little tight through sitting, but work and I am sure will free off with use.

Good tyres all round, fronts a bit aged cracked but still doing the job, rears have loads of tread and are in good order.

Tinwork wise its very complete panel wise. The bonnet is very straight and in good order, as are most other panels including foot plates. The only downside is that the wings require repair or replacement. The wheels are also solid and not knocked about

The registration has expired, so probably easiest to go through one of the clubs to get an age related one.

Overall, a 95% complete tractor in good form, could make a very nice restoration.
