Not overly common these days, a very straight and original 565, the next model up from the 550, the 565 was the entry 4 cylinder offering 60hp in a compact frame. This tractor seems to have been supplied new by Riches of east Suffolk, and had remained in Suffolk all its life. I have an old log book, but the new keeper will need to apply for a current one – the registration is still live.

The 4cyl Perkins starts and runs perfectly and cleanly without any breathing, The tractor is lively and pulls well on the road

The tractor is fitted with dual clutch

Brakes work well and handbrake functions

Linkage is all operative and benefits from pick up hitch

Condition wise, really original, I don’t think there is any replacement paintwork to speak of and the tractor is remarkably rust free, even the inner wheel arches are clean. tinwork is largely really straight. The one piece door is in good order and I can’t see any stress cracks as is often the case. the lower side glass has been replaced with perspex and needs changing, but otherwise all original and complete. Cab interior materials are really tidy, arch protectors and seat all original. the inner roof lining is the worst bit and would benefit from a tidy, I have a new ceiling trim to go with it.
