Well now for something really different!

This tractor is so original! I’m fairly certain the paint work is all original, its come up a real treat. other than a bit of surface corrosion, where the paint has gone thin, there is no rust, it is absolutely solid. The tractor has spent its life in Texas, hence the condition. Coming into the UK a few years back, its been kept under cover since.

The 30’s were built between 1946 and 1952, featured the striking styled bodywork of this era of Massey Harris. It features an electric start 2.7 flathead Continental engine. It starts instantly and runs well from the outset, running very crisply and cleanly.

It has a 5 speed gearbox with one reverse, it has a good turn of speed, I’d think flat out it would achieve around 20mph. All gears select nicely and clutch is smooth. The brakes are weak one one side, so would need adjusting if serious road work planned

It has a rear quick hitch system, not draft control, but powered up and down. It also has mid mount hydraulics, and comes with mid mount dozer blade if you wish, alternatively you could of course remove to clean the appearance up.

Bodywork is excellent, rot free, not knocked about, even the vulnerable grill is spot on. I think all original stickers remain. You don’t get many like this of that age

Really nice and unusual to drive, you sit so high above the miles of bonnet in front, it turns on a sixpence, is quite light to drive, has a lovely springy seat and flat deck for your feet. It is just a real nice change from the norm. and if you sorted a reg would be a good road run machine
