Fresh from a semi retirement from the Fens, 1 family arable farm owner from new, a very genuine and original old tractor, a bit of rarity, with the very distinctive clean and smooth 80’s Renault design.

The 100hp MWM starts up straight away hot or cold, and instantly settles down to sewing machine like purr characteristic of these great old German engines. Runs very cleanly, other than on rev up, she really is lovely and clean and sounds fantastic. Clock shows 11000 hours, which I imagine is true. The engine itself is clean and dry.

The clutch feels good, and all gears select fine. it has a high, medium and a low range, with 4 gears available in each. and a mechanical forward reverse shuttle which is nice as fwd and rev speeds are always the same.

Nice light power steering (the PS ram could do with a bush sorting as its slack, and will give play at high speeds)

Rear linkage and 2 speed PTO are all working as they should. 2 d/a spools

Bodywork wise, the tractor is pretty good, nice and complete with engine covers present and not driven over, the nose cone and bonnet are nice and straight. The wings are also good, the end panels of the wings are a bit knocked about, but if you are fussed, you can get replacements. There is a bit of rust here and there, as you would expect, nothing that effects it, and most easily sorted with time and effort

Cab is in good order, all glass present, doors open and close fine. would benefit from a bit more cleaning, but actually again very complete, and not ruined.

Make an interesting and unusual item for preservation, or put back into use, yard tug, mixer wagon etc
