Fresh from a semi retirement from the Fens, 1 family arable farm owner from new, a very genuine and original old tractor.

78hp, MWM powered, these engines are renowned for being some of the best of their time. This one starts without and runs very smoothly and cleanly, they are a very smooth motor, even in 4 cylinder guise.

Mechanically, there really is little to fault this tractor. The gearbox is all positive without crunching. the 4 main gears are synchromesh and there is a mechanical shuttle reverser, which is a really nice feature as means you go forwards and backwards at the same speed. The clutch feels good too. It drives nicely.

Rear linkage and PTO are all working as they should. 2 d/a spools. Pick up hitch

Brakes are functioning as is the hand brake.

Tractor is overall straight, it has wear and tear as you would expect, but certainly hasn’t been abused and even has a recent filter and oil in it.

There is a bot of rust in the wing tops as usual, but nothing critical, or that couldn’t be sorted, the inner wings are good as is the rest of the tractor. The cab is complete, with forward opening doors which hold open in use, glass is all present, some of the padding is a bit tatty.
