Lovely original Example of a Norfolk Registered Nuffield 1060 

The 3.8 BMC engine starts without hesitation from hot or cold, there is no pre heat , just a start switch on the fuel pump. The tractor is started via the ignition key, and all original dials are present and actually working! The engine is very sweet, runs smoothly from the outset. A puff when you rev it but otherwise nothing unusual at all, there is no visible breathing. In all I would say a very good unit. 

The clutch is smooth and the bite point feels good, the 5 speeds select without issue and both high and low boxes function correctly and easily

The foot brakes are ok , you wont stall the tractor with them, but they will lock up with a good shove, the hand brake works well

the linkage lifts and lowers via the lift lever and is responsive, there is also a hyd service, with old type coupling

The PTO is a 540 and 1000 rpm Unit. It has an independent hand clutch, so depressing foot clutch only stops direction of travel, so much more practical to use than some of the era without live drive

This 1060 has clearly been well cared for over the years, and has obviously spent most of its life under cover. The panels are exceptionally straight and rust free. even the foot plates and wings are in great order. there is no welding or patches! Just ready to be enjoyed.  

Tyres have a bit of age about them, but are in good order with loads of tread on the rears

The Norwich registration is live, but I have not made request for new log book, so the new owner can do that.
